What happens to the details you send us, in plain terms.

Who is collecting it

Christina Chen, trading as Humans & Giants, is the data controller. You can reach her at contact@christinachn.com about anything on this page.

What we collect

Only what you type into the signup form:

• Your first and last name
• Whether you would rather be contacted by email or WhatsApp
• The email address or phone number you give us
• Anything you write in the questions box

There is no analytics, no tracking and no advertising on this site. We do not set cookies.

Why we have it

To reply to you and to talk with you about the expedition. That is the only reason. We do not sell it, share it, or add you to any list you did not ask for.

The legal basis

Consent. You gave us these details by choosing to fill in the form, and you can withdraw that at any time by emailing us.

Where it is kept

In a private Notion database that only Christina can open. Notion Labs is based in the United States and processes the data on our behalf under standard contractual clauses. The form is hosted on Netlify, which passes your submission to Notion and does not keep a copy.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or two years after the expedition you enquired about — whichever comes first. If you tell us you are not interested, we delete it then and there.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, correct it, delete it, or object to us holding it at all. Email contact@christinachn.com and we will action it within a month. There is nothing to justify and no form to fill in.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
